Have I mentioned I have the cutest baby girl ever? For her first Halloween Kinley was Little Red Riding Hood. I got the idea into my head to make her costume. I am a fairly new sewer but I think I forget that sometimes. I get an idea into my head and it seems simple in my head but then when it is laid out in front of me, I say..."what did I get myself into?!". I have made several things, yet havent had to use one pattern. Talent, I think not! Luck! Anyways, I made this cape for Kinley and I am actually very proud of myself. It took a couple of hours but I conquered it! I wanted to eat her and her little basket too!

My brother Jordan is on a mission in Denver, Colorado and just celebrated his hump day. (First half). He has one year to go and as a family we all sent him goodies, letters and I added some pictures of Kinley, who he hasn't met yet. These were some of the pictures we sent him. I think he might fall in love...I would!
oh my gosh holly, that little red riding hood turned out PERFECT! That's so adorable, there's no way you are considered a "new" sewer! Kinley looked adorable. And i love the missionary sign... such a good idea, I think I might steal it =)
